Jeremy and I drove to Bethesda Maryland (well Jeremy drove) Friday so that he could attend a Triathlon expo there Saturday. On our way down we stopped by the Pottery Barn Kids Outlet in Leesburg Virginia. Did you know there are only 8 Pottery Barn Kids Outlets in the country? The Ohio one closed. So after the outlet stop we went on to our hotel. We had to cross the Potomac River to get back into Maryland and we were following Garmin and the next thing we knew the road had ended into a ferry. We were expecting a bridge but we got a ride on a historic ferry! Our hotel was really nice. I love staying in a hotel, I can make a mess and I don't have to clean it up, plus they had little Ben and Jerry's ice cream cups in the lobby. I had one as a midnight snack. The Triathlon expo was fun. More fun for Jeremy! He was in heaven! I did really enjoy the keynote speaker, Lisa Bentley an 11 time ironman champion. Her presentation was awesome. The expo was held on the Georgetown Prep campus. Wow! It was amazing just to walk around! And the weather was cool but a beautiful sunny day. We drove back Saturday night. It was a quick trip. The picture of me is us having a picnic from the trunk of our car at the expo. Oh and the picture of Jeremy with the bike is the new Trek bike premiering in May and it is $11,000. Needless to say that will not be Jeremy's new bike!
