Grand Canyon

Amazing! It was beautiful, in between the snowflakes and hail. At one point there was a white out, the snow was coming down so hard in front of you, you couldn't see the canyon. We bought a heavy blanket and wrapped her up. But there were times the sun was out. We stayed at the Grand Hotel. Which was really nice, but we fell asleep at 6:45pm that night so we missed swimming in the indoor heated pool and the native american dancers that started at 730pm.Oh well. Sadie was def on Ohio time. She was in bed between 7pm and 9 pm everynight (which correlates to her 11pm-midnight bedtime waiting for me to come home for work). And she was up at 5:15 every morning (8am Ohio time). We ate lunch overlooking the canyon at the El Tovar, and went to all of the visitor centers and gift shops, trying to stay warm from the 37 degree weather. What a difference from the 100 degree weather at Jen's house. Overall, a great trip. Sadie was the center of attention at the hotel and canyon and in all of the airports. She smiled and waved to everyone. And everyone ate her up.
