Thanksgiving at the Ranch
Sadie enjoyed all of the attention at Thanksgiving. We ate yummy food! And played pinochle our family tradition. Sadie tried eating the cards, and was fascinated by them. She is going to learn that game even earlier than I did. I can still remember sitting around my grandma's kitchen watching all of my aunts and uncles, mom, and dad, grandma, and grandpa play pinochle. Sadie and Chism (My Aunt Rita's new golden puppy) were pretty cute together! I got in 2 naps on Thanksgiving. It was heaven. Jeremy managed to take a pic of me napping with the dogs. We took all of our dogs but Ito. He stayed home and was king of the castle. And there is an aeriel shot of everyone napping after the meal. Of course we had to read the Bearenstein Bears Thanksgiving book. I had all of those books in that series and my dad kept them and gave them all back to me before Sadie was born. And the pic of me with my aunts at the window is us looking at the turkey. My Aunt Rita was outside unveiling the finished cooked turkey on the grill.
